The Story

I photographed the Palouse in springtime. Two trees, so close they appear as one, standing on the rolling green hills — they felt like a quiet reminder of what it means to be rooted, to lean on those closest to you, and to take in the light. For me, the Palouse has always represented renewal and the promise of a new season.
